Wetting agents are a proven crop management tool. Wetting agents, or surfactants, make water wetter thereby increasing the penetration of water into the soil deeper and broader. Water, as Agriculture’s most used carrier liquid, mixes with materials infinitely more efficiently when water tension is reduced using wetting agents. Additionally, as the water penetrates deeper and broader into the soil, the nutrients being carried with it also penetrate deeper and broader. This gains an immediate benefit in reduced runoff and reduced burn off of nutrients, and in the case of soil with proper biology levels, the nutrients are taken deeper straight to the biology and quicker more efficient processing.

Additionally, wetter water is also known to break down salt bonds, petrol bonds, and more quickly hydrate dry soils. Most wetting agents on the shelf today are formulated from harsh, caustic detergents or ethoxylated surfactants. These introduce harsh pH solutions into your soil or combat your reservoir pH levels. Additionally, these types have questionable safety concerns.

Of those who recognize the benefit of plant-derived saponins over caustic detergents, unfortunately, the market pretty much only offers saponins of the Yucca plant. Here at Eden, we do not settle for the norm or the ‘easiest.’ We came to discover that there is a structural variety of saponins derived from various plants. The number of saccharide chains attached to the sapogenin cores can vary, as can the length of the chains. The cores can also be any one of a wide variety of polycyclic organic structures originating from carbon terpenes. What does this mean to you? Certain varieties have been established in plant ecology to serve as antifeedants and to protect plants against microbes and fungi, while some have enhanced nutrient absorption and digestion aid in animals. Saponins have a range of industrial uses depending on the structured variety. Rather than just utilizing a single plant source and singular structure, we have researched and utilized 19 plant sources for saponins to give you a comprehensive and wide variety of saponin structures for superior saponin benefits.

Our BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res is a NOP Compliant Wetting Agent. Base Blend Tri-Res undergoes our trade secret Eden Synergy process and is formulated from select herbs strong in saponin levels. BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res saponins are derived from Alfalfa Extract, Aloe, Angelica, Bhringaraj Leaf, Black Cumin Seed, Kola Leaf, Butcher’s Broom, Calendula, Chamomile, Cardamom, Comfrey, Dandelion Root, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Ginger, Ginseng Root, Hibiscus, Japanese Knotwood Extract, Maca Root, Moringa Leaf, and Yucca Root.

Triacontanol is being used today as a growth stimulant. In the mid-seventies, a study performed by Stanley K. Ries et al. was conducted, and significant increases in growth and productivity were observed in plants that were close to alfalfa hay (Medicago sativa L). Some investigations have estimated and decided that the active principle in alfalfa is 1-triacontanol. We are currently in a day and age that we are all well aware of the side effects of compounds created through synthesis which do not have the supporting other elements initially designed for such active principles to be effective without side effects. In studies, the smaller the amounts of 1-triacontanol used, the better the results (as little as 0.1 mg/L). In the independent study, here at Eden Solutions, we have discovered that an Alfalfa extract, with all the supporting compounds and structures of the plant (with triacontanol in its natural state), works better than the synthesized version.

Resveratrol has been widely studied, and many have been published to the National Library of Medicine and the National Institute of Health. Resveratrol is a phytochemical and has been proven to suppress the growth of various phytopathogens. It has further been confirmed to have antioxidative and cytoprotective properties. Resveratrol is being used in many ways today to enhance medicines and supplements with improved biofortification.

BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res should only be applied in accordance with an Apical Soil/Plant Sap Analysis. Results should dictate ongoing application rates. DO NOT COMBINE WITH PESTICIDES, CHEMICALS, PLANT CLEANERS, HIGH Na SALT/CHLORIDE GROW MEDIA. BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res has the ability to magnify anything it touches in soil, water, or on leaf surfaces and greatly enhances uptake. Strengthened doses of synthetics/chemicals can result in direct stress, burning, or death of plants. BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res by itself, without synthetics/chemicals, will never cause these issues when used as directed. Ask us how to qualify for guarantees. If by user choice to use synthetics/chemicals combined with BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res against our directions, they must be reduced at a minimum of 90%. We DO NOT advocate BlueGold® Base Blend Tri-Res use with any synthetic/chemical. Tomatoes do not like Base Blend Tri-Res; use Base Blend instead.
