BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend is our #1 Solution for all Vegetative Growth (Forage, Timothy, Hay, Ryegrass, Alfalfa, Lawn, Tobacco, etc.). It was named ‘Alfalfa Blend’ because, like most of our blends, it was formulated by request from an Alfalfa farmer but because of its formulation it fits a need for vegetative crops. We also commonly use this blend in Corn during the very beginning Vegetative growth cycle of the crop.
A standard Forage program averages $40-50 per acre, per cutting and includes: 42 oz Alfalfa Blend and 1# each of our Injectable Minerals: Aragonite, Phosphate, Calcium Silicate, Amino Nitrogen (14-0-0), Humate, and Carbon. We also offer these injectable minerals pre-mixed in a 270# 55-gal locking drum. For more information on BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend please call us at 1-307-275-7010 or email office@edenbluegold.com.
All Eden BlueGold® Solutions are 100% formulated, made, and manufactured in America by a family-founded, owned, operated, and Veteran-led business.

ABOUT BLUEGOLD® ALFALFA BLEND
BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend is our ‘custom blend’ alfalfa fertilizer for Alfalfa, Forage, Hay, Pasture, Grass, etc. and all organic Vegetative crops. It was formulated by request from an alfalfa forage farmer who had $31 per acre to put into a foliar fertilizer program and wanted something to spray in-between cuttings. It averages 42 oz per acre at a cost of $31 per acre. Alfalfa Blend has been as a foliar fertilizer used with all forage crops [Alfalfa, Orchard Grass, Sorghum, Grasses, etc.], and other purely Vegetative crops like Tobacco as well as been used as a lawn spray by home-owners and landscape companies. You can use Alfalfa Blend or we can formulate a similar style custom blend fertilizer based on your crop’s exact needs based on an Apical Sap Test.
A standard Forage program averages $50 per acre (delivered), per cutting and includes 42 oz Alfalfa Blend, 24oz Percolate, 5oz GRM, and 1# each of our Injectable Minerals: Aragonite (Calcium), Phosphate, Calcium Silicate (Silica), Amino Nitrogen (14-0-0) (Nitrogen), Humate, and Carbon. We also offer these injectable minerals pre-mixed in a 270# 55-gal locking drum. Please call us at 1-307-275-7010 or email office@edenbluegold.com to inquire.

Our focus on forage crops based on years of research and development :
The industry-standard approach to Alfalfa is often Phosphate, Potassium, and Sulfur with the thought that Nitrogen is not needed as Alfalfa is a legume and legumes are known to be Nitrogen fixers. The next big industry standard is to push a ‘lime’ Calcium. These industry-standard recommendations, based on our studies, are the foundation for poor yields. Alfalfa is what we know to be a ‘vegetative’ crop. While it does bloom and goes to seed it is not a fruit-bearing crop, like tomatoes, which means the input focus needs to primarily be on vegetative inputs vs. reproductive inputs. The core vegetative inputs consist of Calcium, Phosphate, Silica, Carbon, and NO3 Nitrogen. Potassium is a reproductive input. In our studies, when it is used as a forage input it is the primary cause of pest pressure. Other inputs that aid to pes pressure when they are in excess are Magnesium, Chlorides, Na Sodium, and Boron. Alfalfa is a deep taproot crop. The root system of Alfalfa pulls the Potassium it needs from the atmosphere. When you use a Potassium fertilizer on a crop that requires very little Potassium, you experience pest pressure, stunted growth, yellowing, etc. Potassium while a metal, acts as a salt. Salts will crush Calcium uptake and the plant will exchange Calcium for Potassium. This is where stunted growth and yellowing will occur. The yellowing in this instance is from the bottom up on the crop. You can also get a ‘salt push’ from excess Potassium. This means when Alfalfa has access to excess Potassium, you will very quick growth for 2-3 weeks and then the crop wants to stunt. When these un-needed inputs are put out year after year, the sustainability of the soil decreases.
WHAT SETS BLUEGOLD® ALFALFA BLEND APART FROM OTHER SAPONIN PRODUCTS?
Our BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend undergoes our trade secret Eden Synergy process and is formulated from select plants strong in saponin levels. BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend saponins are derived from: Aloe, Angelica, Bhringaraj Leaf, Black Cumin Seed, Brahma / Gotu Kola Leaf, Butcher’s Broom, Calendula, Chamomile, Cardamom, Comfrey, Dandelion Root, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Ginger, Ginseng Root, Hibiscus, Maca Root, Moringa Leaf, and Yucca Root. There are many benefits to plant-derived saponins over caustic detergents, unfortunately, the market pretty much only offers saponins from the Yucca plant (or another singular plant). At Eden, we do not settle for the norm. We discovered there is a structural variety of saponins derived from various plants. The number of saccharide chains attached to the sapogenin cores can vary, as can the length of the chains. The cores can also be any one of a wide variety of polycyclic organic structures originating from carbon terpenes. What does this mean to you? Certain types have been established in plant ecology to serve as antifeedants and to protect plants against microbes and fungi, while some have enhanced nutrient absorption and digestion aid in animals. Suffice to say, saponins have a range of industrial uses depending on the structure variety. Instead of just utilizing a single plant source and singular structure, we have researched and used 19 plant sources for saponins to give you a comprehensive and wide variety of structures for optimum saponin benefits.
CAUTION
BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend is an OMRI-listed Input (please contact your certifier before use). A micronutrient deficiency must be documented for use of BlueGold® Alfalfa Blend in Organic Operations. We only work with Apical Crop Science for all testing needs and require their tests to be enrolled into our Guaranteed Grow Program.
Do not use with synthetically enhanced or grow media with excesses of Na Sodium, Chlorides, Aluminum, Sulfur, Magnesium, Potassium, NO3/NH4, Iron, Boron with BlueGold®. We strongly recommend avoiding ocean-based products high in Na Sodium, Chlorides, and other salts with our Solutions and Sulfur-based products, salt, and heavy metal loaded humates, manures (primarily commercial), and composts (especially mushroom, dead animal, etc.), etc. These inputs are upside down with excesses. The BlueGold® Grow System is based on balanced Nutritionals. By itself, BlueGold®, at recommended rates using Apical Testing, will not harm ANY crop, plant, biology, system, human, animal, environment, pollinator, or beneficial (including birds, butterflies, earthworms, etc.). Do NOT combine with pesticides/chemicals/plant cleaners/etc. Very recent or current use of chemicals like fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, algaecides, bactericides, miticides, pesticides, biocides, fumigants, plant growth regulators, pH Up/Down chemicals, dyes, etc., – all can cause an unfavorable interaction due to the Wetting Agent properties of BlueGold® Solutions, which can magnify the strength of said chemical. Strengthened doses of those chemicals can result in direct stress, burning, or death of plants. BlueGold® Solutions by themselves, at recommended rates, without chemical interactions, will never cause these issues in any plant or soil (when used as directed). Users must respect BlueGold® labels and manufacturer warnings to not combine with chemical/synthetic/excess element inputs by +/- 90%. It is user choice against our directions/recommendations. If you encounter problems in the plants from the previous mentioned by your choice, STOP. If you quickly move the pH to 6.4 with the help of pH adjusters, without adjusting inputs, you’re drastically making inputs more available, which results in stressed, burned, or dead plants from too big of a hit from the nutrients that are now available at a much higher % than previously. This is especially true when all the chemical/synthetic/excesses stored up flood the plants at even higher EC/PPM values. Likewise, if you do not adjust inputs while using BlueGold®, as soil/sap pH is driven to 6.4, the same can happen over an extended period depending on soil and watering conditions.
As the manufacturer, we offer a 100% Guarantee when used as directed, within the Eden Guaranteed Grow Program. A limited guarantee restricted to exclusive use with BlueGold® products and systems subject to the Apical soil, sap, water testing conditions, and Postal damages. No warranty or fitment of purpose promised.
